North East metalcore band, ALIEN SKY CULT, are all set to release their debut EP titled ‘You are not alone’. Formed in Oct 2011, the band has released one single ‘FATE’ last year. The new EP has been recorded / mixed and mastered by the multi-talented Keshav Dhar (of Skyharbor fame). Alien Sky Cult are Shung and Adarsh on guitars, Syd on drums and Akkshit on vocals.
We contacted the band and asked them about the concept behind the EP. The band commented “The title of the EP has a dual meaning. Our lyrics are meant to inspire others, an upliftment basically. We assure people who connect with us in their pursuit of life that through their struggles, they are not alone. We also believe that our Earth isn’t the only habitable planet in the cosmos and that we aren’t the only beings.”
