DOMINATION – The Deathfest 2014 to hit Mumbai and Hyderabad

India’s original extreme metal festival, DOMINATION: THE DEATHFEST is back for its 6th edition in Hotel United 21, Thane on Sunday, the 8th of June. The festival started in the year 2000, and was the first of its kind, having hosted the current stalwarts of the Indian Scene, namely DEMONIC RESURRECTION, EXHUMATION, KRYPTOS, THREINODY, and FATE. After a five year hiatus, Domination: The Deathfest was recommenced last year, to a packed house. This year, it kicks up the excitement by a notch, by hosting bands from every end of the metal paradigm:

  • Killchain (Old School Death Metal, Mumbai)
  • Shepherd (Sludge, Bangalore)
  • Wired Anxiety (Groove/Death Metal, Mumbai)
  • Primitiv (Stone Age Metal, Mumbai)
  • Bombay Death Metal Legion (All Star Tribute to Death Metal Legends)
  • Insane Prophecy (Black/Death Metal, Guwahati)
  • Plague Throat (Brutal Death Metal, Shillong)

Because the festival is the annual pilgrimage for extreme metal fans from across the country, this year the organizers plan to take the show to Hyderabad as well. The event is slated to happen on the 21st of June, in Extreme Sports Bar, Karkhana and will feature the following bands:

  • Death Incarnate (Groove/Death, Reunion Show, Hyderabad)
  • Nihilus (Tech/Death, Bangalore)
  • Primitiv (Stone Age Metal, Mumbai)

  • Pisakas (Thrash/Grind, Bangalore)
  • Perpetual Void (Thrash/Death, Hyderabad)

With shows across 2 Cities, featuring 12 bands from 5 cities, in addition to One Mammoth collective of 20 musicians called The Bombay Death Metal Legion paying tribute to the masters…welcome to 12 Hours of pure metal madness!
