Formed in December 2011, Mumbai based progressive metal band, MIDHAVEN, are set to release their debut EP ‘Tales From The Tide‘. The EP is part of their upcoming full length debut ‘Above The Vile‘ scheduled for release in June-July. The EP will be released at blueFROG on May 5th with bands NerveRek and Silver Tears performing at the event.
Vocalist Karan Kaul gives a brief glimpse into the EP “The 3 tracks Whitewash, Tales From The Tide and The Third Eye each have a story of their own. The Third Eye talks about Shiva, Tales is about Pirate lore and Whitewash is about contemplating suicide. The artwork also has hints of our songs.”
The album was recorded at Joshua Inc Studios, mastered and mixed by Jason D’Souza and produced by Jordan Veigas (Bassist of launchpad winning band ‘Reverrse Polarity’). The artwork has been done by Aakash Dwivedi who has previously done logos for bands like Solar Deity. The band has uploaded few songs from the EP on their SoundCloud page.
