Black metallers DARK DESOLATION to record for tribute to MARDUK

Satanic Black Metal from Bangalore, DARK DESOLATION, formed in July 2010 is working on a tribute album to the Swedish black metal giants MARDUK. Dark Desolation will collaborate with other foreign metal bands like After Blood a melodic/groove death metal band from Greece, Stortregn a black/death metal from Switzerland, Winterfront an old school pagan black metal band from Croatia and Acid Death a technical/progressive death metal band from Greece.

Dark Desolation will be covering the single Souls for Belial, which was released in 2012 via Century Media Records/Blooddawn Prods. The compilation album will be mixed and mastered by Vinish at Derash Studios in Auckland, New Zealand. The flyer was designed by Hel Pyre from After Blood.

After Blood a melodic/groove metal was founded in 2011 by vocalist Hel Pyre and guitarist Cyan. AfterBlood is a female fronted Metal band with a modern Death Metal style that meets the Heavy Metal sound adding atmospheric Black metal touches from Greece.

Stortregn is a black/death metal band formed in Switzerland in 2005. The band gets his influences from the Nordic black metal as Dissection, Naglfar, Watain, Necrophobic, etc. Very appreciated for their live shows, Stortregn has become an inevitable band in the world of Swiss French’s black/death metal.

Winterfront is an old school pagan black metal band from Crotia which started as project of two fiends Terrt and Sorr in late autumn of 2010.

Acid Death, one of the oldest Greek bands that have been active for 12 years, from 1989 to 2001, started from classic Thrash Metal and ended up being the sole representatives of Progressive Death Metal up until their disband. Now they are making their comeback.
