Blood Division (Singapore) and DYING EMBRACE (India) have just been confirmed to headline the third TRENDSLAUGHTER FEST on Feburary 10th, 2013 in Bangalore, India. According to the organizers (Cyclopean Eye Productions/Trendslaughter crew), the festival has been created to “bring Bangalore the best of underground metal by getting both foreign acts, bands around India and Bangalore together and thereby creating a rock solid underground movement to spearhead the Heavy metal culture in India.” The fest will also have support from Bangalore Sludge Merchants “Shepherd“, Mumbai Black Metal Traditionalists “Solar Deity“, Kolkata Old School Death Metallers “Necrodeity“, Black/Thrash mongers and “Witchgoat”
Last year the TRENDSLAUGHTER FEST II was headlined by Japanese Black/thrash veterans band Abigail with Canadian Doom Traditionalist Cauchemar and local bands Dying Embrace, Dhwesha, Djinn and Miskatonic and Gorified and saw around 200+ fans congregate at the venue at Kyra Theatre, Bangalore, India for a good 8 hours Thrash, Doom Grind and Old school Death metal!

Emerging from the sewers of metropolitan Singapore in South-east Asia, BLOOD DIVISION was conceived in 2009 by M. (ex-IMPIETY, ABSENCE OF THE SACRED) and C. (ex-DRACONIS INFERNUM, HELVETTE) and plays a deadly viral combination of Blackened Thrash Metal and Crust. BLOOD DIVISION is influenced by bands such as DARKTHRONE, BATHORY, AURA NOIR, CELTIC FROST, HELLHAMMER, SLAYER, SODOM, WOLFBRIGADE, DISFEAR, DISCHARGE, DOOM, GISM, SKITSYSTEM as well as the abuse of alcoholic beverages.

Legendary pioneering Death/Doom act from Bangalore have been in existence for twenty one years with releases on international labels (7” vinyl “Misanthrope” and recently released “Era of Tribulation discography” on cd and LP on Legion Of Death Records, France) and have had the title of being India’s oldest Death Metal band.
