Iron Fist Records has set a Feb 18th release date for the third Kryptos album, “The Coils of Apollyon”
The album features 9 tracks of some of the best heavy metal to ever come out of the Indian subcontinent and will be released exclusively in India through Bangalore’s newest record label, Iron Fist Records.
“The Coils of Apollyon” is an album for all old school headbangers who worship at the altar of Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Kreator, Coroner, Mercyful Fate and Candlemass. From the blitzkrieg attack of ‘The Mask of Anubis‘ and ‘Spellcraft‘ to the occult leanings of ‘Serpent Mage’ and the apocalyptic crusher ‘Visions of Dis‘, this release will ensure you reach for your leather jacket and bang your head to kingdom come.
Kryptos will launch “The Coils of Apollyon” in their hometown of Bangalore on February 18th 2012 at the Kyra Theater and will be supported by stoner doom sensations Bevar Sea on a night that is sure to make emos everywhere shrivel in their flannels.
The band will perform a brand new 90 minute set that will see them play a huge chunk of new material alongside some old favourites. There will also be a ton of new merch available along with the new album and with the beer sure to flow in large quantities it’s going to be one hell of a heavy metal party.
