The Lament is a Symphonic Dark Metal band from Russia (Ekaterinburg), formed in May 2009. Their music is a heritage and extension of the work of such groups as Cradle of Filth, Dimmu Borgir and Epica in its own original interpretation.

The band is currently working on upcoming full-length album which will be built overall narrative. One or possibly two tracks will be taken from this EP. They are already looking for a publishing label for the full-length release.
