REVIEW: Blackheart – Anti Corruption EP

You need not be some 25 years old 5’10” huge giant with some long hairs to come out with some good music, Blackheart conveying the message to Indian Metal Scene by the release of their debut EP in their teenage.

Their EP, ANTI-CORRUPTION is available for free download (a good marketing move almost every new band today is following) which is a proper Deathcore album, and if you don’t know what Deathcore is, Blackheart is a good example…!!!

The EP comprises of three tracks, “A SILENT VIVE” is the opening track and I strongly feel that it would have been a lot stronger… It opens up with a good riff but as the song progresses it loses the attention it grabbed earlier. The band paced up with “DEATH BY POISON” which is a good track and nice work on vocals and drums can be heard on it. Undoubtedly, the best track on the EP is “DON’T BE PANIC”. The riffs on this track are pretty catchy and the guitar solo starting at around half portion of the track will really leave a mark on listener’s ears.

ANTI-CORRUPTION has little good things scattered all around in it. Each song starts with some dizzying riffs and then there are some breakdowns to make the atmosphere a bit easier and then they bring back their energy. The band disappoints a bit from the lyrical point of view and the outros also seemed to a bit awkward but the overall delivery will leave a good impression.

It is just the beginning for them but the only way I can see them going is UP..!!!! \m/

RATINGS: 6/10
