Can you please give a brief introduction to GROHM to our readers.
Gmorg: Grohm was form in the year 2003 by Gmorg (Hellbound, stone cold shower, the black order) moloch (Forchtenstein, The Black Order, Helvete,) and mythos (Dark Assassins, The black Order) as a pagan black metal band as like as Kampfar or Graveland, but the style turns fast to a dirty Black/Thrash with rock n’ roll influence. So in 2004 Bustum and Zarathustra joined the band and move there hearts into the black hole of Grohm. Moloch (with Gmorg in Black order) and Mythos moved out because the there private life cost to much time, so Grohm started again to make good underground music with the evil and dirty touch like an gang bang whorror dream..And so the time for Wigan fur teiwaz era was born!!
"Grohm" sounds very northern and in your booklet you mentioned that "Grohm dedicates all this work on this album to the northern gods." So you are obviously a band very much into the northern myths? How do you feel about the huge variety of gods and goddesses?
Bustum: Why not? We are northern and so our work!
Gmorg: I’ from the north and in my heart there is northern blood so I dedicated to the northern gods and there mythology! I think most of my lyrics are going in this way ! ODIN the king of northern sky.
Apart form the name what does "Grohm" mean and how do you came up with that name "Wigan fur Teiwaz"?
Gmorg: We searching for a unholy black name for our band so our studio was in the Grohgasse and voilá! Grohm was born (the god of fighting and steel in the germans mythology) grohm means for us fight for you soul and strike against everything! Wigan fur teiwaz cames from the old german language and means kämpfen für den asen so we thought this is just a good beginning for the history of grohm!!!
Are you satisfied with the result or miss you anything on this album and would you like to change it afterwards?
Gmorg: We think that everthing is perfect with the recording but our next demo "Black n’ Roll Extravaganza" where made in professional conditions studio in Vienna, so watch out for it!!
Bustum: But we have a new guitarist in our band. He plays very good and brings some stuff which has 666% qualitaly!
How do you start with the recording?
Bustum: "Wigan fur teiwaz" was recorded in Vienna in December 2004. Only the sixth track on this album "Summertime Depression" was recorded in a small Forest in Lobau in the near of the City.
Tell me about the lyrical message of GROHM and the song writing! To whom it may concern and which topics you mentioned in the lyrics, you think, should affect the listeners or change the personal view? Is there anything, for example politics or something else, you don’t prefer in lyrics?
Gmorg: No politics or something the lyrics are about was against Christians, perversions and suicide they are black and dark but with a little cocksucking influence.
Bustum: We hate politics and Christianity. For my part I support the hate against the Judea Christianity. If you hate the Christ and against the scripts which stand in the fistfucking bible, you must hate the greedy and ugly Jews. No bible, no Christianity. That’s my way.
You’re playing thrash/black in old style.. Could you think to change your genre in future and what do you think about the modern BM, including the commerce shit like CoF and so on. What should be important for an true Blackmetal band? And is there anything what you hate in the (black)metal scene?
Gmorg: In the upcomming release Black n’ Roll Extravaganza there is much more ambient atmospheric I think its more adult the just Wigan fur Teiwaz part one but for once there is just our dirty stuff once more an the brutal site. Important for a true BM is to keep the music in there heart not just listen to the music just feel it! BM is a religion and a music art no something stupid sick pop or gothic shit!!
How is the response of your country?
Gmorg: Most of the persons who listen to us set and comments "I hope you can go on with your fistfucking stuff". We think the scene in Austria is a very bad scene because most of them are poser persons. They work not for the scene but against the scene.
Bustum: Most of the assholes want to be anybody. Mostly the shits are not older than me and want to be hard with her pseudo ideologies or political ideologies. The assholes should look for another hobby. Fuck them all!
Have you ever heard about the metal scene in India?
Gmorg: Not very much but I think the scene grown up in Asia and the people are going wilder and wilder.
How do you feel being one of the bands to be featured in ‘Metal Underground’ Section on Metal India?
