The Swedish melodic death giants, DARK TRANQUILITY are confirmed as the third international act of this year’s Bangalore Open Air. Dark Tranquility is coming India for the second time and this time time they will be coming with their new studio album CONSTRUCT. Though, the news of their performance in India was shared by the band in an interview last week with metalassault, a metal portal while discussing about their new album and touring places.

The organizers of BOA announced today on gig’s official Facebook page by saying:

One of the pioneers of melodic death metal and an absolute institution in the world of metal, Dark Tranquility return to India for the second time after making jaws drop when they graced these shores two years ago with a performance exploding with power and passion that has long become their trademark. With their new album CONSTRUCT looming over the horizon Dark Tranquility continue to push the boundaries of metal into uncharted waters while firmly holding steadfast to their roots. They love India as much as we love them and we’re proud to bring them down once again. Once they’re through with all you headbangers it will truly be DAMAGE DONE.”

Black metal legend IHSAHN and  progressive metallers LEPROUS are the other 2 international acts which were announced to perform at Bangalore Open Air 2013.
