Black Metal band ‘Throne Of Regression’ back from hiatus, working on new single

New Delhi based Experimental Black Metal band Throne Of Regression is back from hiatus and working on their new single. They define their music as a perfect blend of the modern progressive elements in the darkest of the Black Metal riffs and drum styles producing a contemporary sound. Their influences include bands like Kalodin, Burzum, 1833 AD, Wolves In The Throne Room, Ragnarok, Ancient, Carnifex, and the list goes on.

We aim at making not the low-fi produced Black Metal this time. Yeah, the music and the riffs are very much inspired from all the legendary bands that would include Burzum, Mayhem, and at some parts, Emperor too. But the final tone would sound like a blend of all the possible elements Black Metal has.“, commented the band.

Throne Of Regression posted on Facebook:

“Well, after a lot of fuck-ups including line-up issues, internal disputes etc. the band is again active. And it feels good to be back again. All the past, pending projects are now being started fresh. Obviously with new hopes and spirits. For those of you who don’t know, we are a new/upcoming Black Metal act hailing from New Delhi. Our styles not just stick to one particular theme or sub-genre but we strive to deliver the most innovative Black Metal tone. To give it a precision, one can call us as Progressive Dark. If not, then maybe we would fix right in the place of Experimental Black.

So, Throne of Regression’s main line-up includes:
– Shrey Kathuria on vocals and rhythm guitars.
– Ekyum Singh Sawhney on lead guitars.
– Gaurav Gorain on bass guitars.

Yeah, we will be featuring some talented guest artists/instrumentalists from the mighty music circuit in every song we would make. Coming to the drums, we still are in a need of a decent drummer. You can always drop us an inbox or get in touch with Shrey Kathuria (+91-9953069370) about the same. He would love to give interested people further details about the same.

Well, yes, the music. The band has already started working on the debut single. Keeping those old German lessons we had in 6th grade in mind, we call the first song as Dunklen Passagier. Which, in English, means Dark Passenger. The title and the entire idea for the same was given by the guitarist, Ekyum. All the major artworks for the song are in the process by the band itself.
To be more precise about the progress, we are done programming the drums already. Guitars and bass will be tracked at end of this week. We thank for all the production and recording work Soundplex records. A fresh and new initiative taken by a good friend- Prateek Aggarwal. The man is a monster on the console, trust me!

So, before I wrap all this up, I would want you to support us with full-heart. A constructive criticism is always welcome..because you are the one for who we will be making music for. Spread a word across, share among your friends and fellows and support Indian Black Metal.
Cheers!”
