India’s only humor metal/rock band WORKSHOP fronted by Demonstealer (DEMONIC RESURRECTION) had recently called it quits. The announcement came shortly after their bass player Riju Dasgupta of horror metal act ALBTROSS quit the band. The band has now announced their comeback gig on 8th January 2012 at the BlueFROG club in Mumbai. The gig will be co-headlined by Chronic Phobia.The gig will be streamed live from blueFROG website.
Demonstealer commented “The decision to disband was just something we did because we were really down and out with Riju leaving the band, this year has been particularly terrible for me personally and it just felt like the right thing to do at the time. However later on I realized that music was the one thing in my life that I never gave up on so it made sense to not give up on something I’d invested so much into and that is why WORKSHOP is back.”
