‘Judas Ancestry‘  is a six-piece Symphonic Blackened Death Metal outfit hailing from Guwahati. The band was formed in December 2010, but then reformed again in May 2011 with a different line-up. Ever since its inception, the band started to channelize it’s efforts in creating music which sounds evil & dark. The bands beliefs are well described through it’s songs and lyrics. The band has also released a split CD titled “Ancient Dust“, with Izund last year.

Their music is influenced from bands like Dimmu Borgir, Eternal Tears of Sorrow, Mayhem, Cradle of Filth, Behemoth, Graveworm, Amon Amarth, Old Man’s Child and Children of Bodom etc.
