MERIDIAN, a modern progressive supergroup from Kolkata, premiered their debut single via Soundcloud on 28th July 2013. The single named ‘ALTERED ORIGIN’, an original composition of band is produced by SAYAN GHOSH (What Escapes Me) and band’s guitarist Shamik Debnath. The single is mixed and mastered by SAYAN GHOSH and Artwork is done by MAHARSHI DAS PURAKASTHA (Noyze Akademi). Lyrics of the track is written by band’s drummer DEBDIPTO ‘SETU’ BANERJEE. Hailing from Kolkata, MERIDIAN was formed back in March 2012. This modern progressive supergroup is a mix of few musicians from Kolkata metal circuit to create a unique sound to emphasize and celebrate the Human Psychology and Human Nature. Since inception, band has gone through few line-up changes and finally set-up from a six piece act to a five-piece act. Band has performed in few local gigs includes Garage Paradise, Judgement day and more and also took part in few competitions includes Livewire. The current line-up of the supergroup is:
