IDES OF MARCH, the annual concert organized by ktmROCKS in the month of March is one of the biggest concerts of the year organized in Nepal. IDES OF MARCH 2012 features Nepal’s biggest black metal band ANTIM GRAHAN along with Bangladesh’s SEVERE DEMENTIA and Nepal’s very own JINDABAAD. Other bands supporting are LAKHEY,a ethnic/metal band featuring Newari instruments, Nepal’s first satanic-black metal band GARUDH and slam death metal band “11“.
The event is scheduled to take place on March 31st at Fun Park, Kathmandu between 1pm – 8pm.
About the bands:
SEVERE DEMENTIA (death metal) hail from our neighboring country Bangladesh. SD is among the best metal bands from South Asian region. The band will be traveling all the way from Dhaka to perform here for the first time in this country.
ANTIM GRAHAN is one of the most prominent black metal bands to emerge out of Nepal. ANTIM GRAHAN has been active since 2004 and has already released five albums. The band has one of the biggest fan base in Kathmandu and Nepal.
JINDABAAD will be performing after a year and thus the crowd anticipation is very high. JINDABAAD is very popular, in Kathmandu and outside the country. The fact that their video for “Rewind” has been seen over 100,000 times on the Youtube.
