‘Varcas‘ is a six piece Symphonic Metal/Melodic Death Metal band hailing from the dark shadows within the Suburbs of Mumbai. The band was formed in Dec ’10 to make its presence known. All band members believe in a revolution, one that only metal music could help pioneer.

‘Varcas’ , which is a sanskrit word, simply suggests Vital Power which is the key essence to life. They choose to spread this power through their powerful music. Dimmu Borgir, Slayer, Vader, Lamb of God, Cradle of Filth, Children of Bodom, Demonic Resurrection, Acrid Semblance and Rudra would be few of the names that have really influenced the band’s music.
