There’s no better way to describe Metallica, than essentially stating that they are the Thrash Metal Pioneers. Thrash Metal, a genre that gained immense popularity during the 80s was considered the most intense, energetic and rebellious music around. The early 80s, is when Metallica came into existence. What seemed like a band that started off doing covers of Motorhead, Venom, Black Sabbath, Diamond Head and loads of other bands, would soon take over the world…and Rest is History.

30 years later after acquiring the ‘Gods Of Metal’ status, Metallica will bless their fans in India by performing in our very own city, Bangalore, this October 30th, 2011. A band that’s known for touring all around the world and record setting gigs of over 300 shows in one single year, will hit India for the very first time. The excitement, adrenaline, expectation and alcohol levels have shot up and it’s pretty evident, as the vibes have been shared fairly on social networking sites.

Theorized started off post – mid 2000’s. Again, like every other band, the project started as a cover band, gradually turning the interest towards making our own music. Early Metallica being one of our top inspirations, we’d really like to show our salutations by doing a Tribute to Metallica. And no better place to do so but in Hard Rock Café, Bengaluru.
The Tribute to Metallica is happening on the 22nd October at Star Rock (Score Night), Chennai and on 27th October at Hard Rock Cafe, Bangalore, 3 days prior to Metallica itself. This gig is aimed at pumping the adrenaline and energy into all the Metallica fans in & around the city and to keep the spirit and the vibe going. Insane, it shall be!
