Verses release debut EP ‘Threshold’

Verses, the Melodic/Symphonic Death Metal act from Bangalore have come out with their debut effort entitled “Threshold”. Verses was started with an aim to introduce Melodic metal to Bangalore and so the story unfolds. The band wanted to create a sound never heard of before in the scene with progressive and melancholic passages combined with heavy aggressive growls and screeches slowly swaying into the clean vocals combining the feel to produce a refreshing Melodic sound in their music.

Influenced by a wide range including Cradle Of Filth, Dimmu Borgir, Between the buried and me, Dark Tranquility, Iron Maiden n others the band has found its melancholic sound that it had been looking for. The band initially had a few issues which slowed them down considerably but after playing regular gigs the band catapulted into the scene instantly generating good reviews from fans with its refreshing sound. Now a fairly established unit in the Bangalore metal scene, Verses enjoys the distinction of being one of the few Melodic metal bands in the country.
