Hail Ancestral Legacy from Norway, this cd is indeed a great listen for all the black metal listeners around the world.Many black metal bands tend to have the same flow of music without any diversity , but this band has a raw and a creative feeling to songs in this product. The musical arrangements is done in a very melodic manner. The synths are placed between primitive musical passages to make the cd sound more beautiful.this compilation of 10 tracks range from mid paced black metal to intense and raw black metal with amazing interludes in between , its definitely a cold and a dark release with excellent instrumentals as well. Ancestral Legacy unleashes atmospheric black metal,which makes you want to listen to the cd repeatedly. The quality of the cd is not up to the mark, its the only negative factor to be considered which could let the overall rating down. The bass line, the drums, the guitar shreds and the great solos towards the instrumentals , all do have importance in the cd . A lot of effort and hard work is required to come out with such a product where all the songs have something different, to prove. Right from the drums , the guitars and bass there’s a constant variation, the vocals are grim, echoed , and again a minimum presence of clean singing between the song structures, where felt necessary but not in every song . By the end, after reading the entire review, one might think to get a hand to this cd, Surely, this cd should be there in all houses where black metal flames are still burning, Waiting to see what’s going to be the next step by this great band Hail Ancestral Legacy..!
