‘Krptosexual Cancroid’ was formed in October 1996 from the ashes of grindcore band ‘Collateral damage’ when ‘Raffa’ (bass/vox) and ‘Tommy’ (guitars/vox) decided to play some Grind/industrial shit with ‘Marco’ (ex-putrocorpse-a local brutal death band) who was into some cool electronic programming. A demo was recorded in 1998 entitled ‘Social repression becomes social aggression’ and pressed to 250 copies. Slovakian label ‘mutationed records’ offered the band a split 7 with ‘Deviant viral source’ in 1999,which was pressed to 500 copies and year 2000 saw a split tape release with fellow Italians ‘Hatebox’. A one-man grind project. Other releases were planned amongst which was a split tape with Brazilians ‘Gore’, but in February 2001 K.C.called it quits as ‘Raffa’ was the only one still interested in the band.
‘The best shit 1996-2001’ is a collection of 11 songs, which never saw the lights, on stage because K.C.never bothered to hit it. (You can call them lazy potheads for this!). Let me not talk too much about that aspect. I will just get to the crux of matters; showcasing the variety you will get on this release Lyrics are varied as music, ranging from humour to anarcho-political impressions (by the way, how many times have you cared about LYRICS!! of such experimental projects). Album opener is ‘Shitty bigots’ starts off on an annoying distorted reverb guitar noise. Bass guitar is as prominent as base drums, moving over grinding riffs. Next song has a ’34’second span, mounted on high end and low-end drum programs. Vocals are almost perfect to this genre-they have whirling cyber thrashy effect, riding on some ‘dead infection’ kind of riffs. Midway, track 4’Abotion of work’ has an electronic path paving a low resistance path to an electric current typecast flowing sound, guitars prove a jumping gymnastic role particularly during central bullet-train drum running parts. Track 7 ‘Cock! Shit! Methane!’ another of those 30 seconders melts ear waxes during initial 10 seconds then fades away with a down tuned riff, and explodes again final 5 seconds. By this time I started reflecting about ‘Abaddon incranate’s ‘Nadir’ that had a similar running style. Although, no comparisons regarding playing and direction, between the two. It’s just that I couldn’t stop myself relating to that band.  Can’t help it. that’s the best way to describe it. Hehe!’Track 10 ‘Coprophagious delicious dinner’is 2minutes 31 seconds long, lengthiest among all gently builds up on a slow bass-shallow guitar sound, upping pace in fragments taking breaks of around 20 seconds.

That’s all about ‘Krptosexual Cancroid’if you do not mind fixing a trade or two, over fun filled electronic grind, I think you a have a nice choice in them.
