AWAKENING is a DIY-styled gig happening on the 31st of August in Pune, conceptualized with the intention of ‘waking up’ the dormancy that has set into the Pune metal scene and is the voice of those who wish to change that by doing what matters most – representing and taking things into our own hands.

This show will feature 5 local bands Halahkuh, Chaoskampf, Consecration and Gaia’s Throne along with Petrichor from Mumbai, the USP of which being every responsibility of the event is being handled by the band members and the active participation of the metal community itself in true DIY fashion.

The venue for this event will be Hotel Elite Ambience in Wakad, which also hosted the three editions of Entombed Metal Fest through 2012-13 that featured some of the best acts – old and new from the metal scene to a great reception.

Also this event shall feature the release of Chaoskampf’s much awaited debut EP ‘Rise and Reconstruct‘.
