Reptilian Death, death metal act from Mumbai will launch their new album ‘The Dawn of Consummation and Emergence.‘ Guillotine and Artillerie to support and perform their first gig of 2013 at blueFROG.
Started off in May 2001 as a solo project of Demonstealer (of Demonic Resurrection), at the end of may Reptilian death released their 1st album ‘5 easy ways to murder someone‘. The band was meant to be grindcore/death metal act. the band seen its first full line-up after 6 months in November 2001. Since, then band has gone through many line-up changes and had release several albums upto 2006. The band’s last release was a split compilation, Defaced and Split, featuring 5-tracks of Reptilian death. Since then, band has evolved from spoofy death metal act to serious,groovy death metal band. Band is now ready with its new release ‘The Dawn of Consummation and Emergence’ after 7 years, album is now available for purchase. Band is ready to perform gigs with its new line-up which will tour India for the promotion of Album. New line-up consist of Demonstealer(Drums, Vocals), Vinay Venkatesh(Vocals,Bhayanak Maut fame), Nishith Hegde(Guitarist, Albatross Fame) and Ashwin Shriyan(Bass).
Hailing from Delhi, Guillotine, flag bearers of Progressive death metal band was formed in early 2008. Since then, this 5-piece act is performing several Pub gigs and college fest includes Hornbill festival and released their Debut album ‘The Cynic‘ in year 2010. And opened for Metallica in 2011 at Bangalore. Since then band is active and was working on their new material. Are coming to perform 2013’s first blueFROG metal night with Reptilian death.
Artillerie, 5-piece progressive/tech/tharsh metal band from Delhi. Formed in 2004 , Artillerie has risen through the ranks as one of the country’s finest, edgiest and most brutal metal bands. Over the years, the band has established a reputation for their intense live performances and songwriting. ‘New Offensive’ EP released by RSJ as a part of the Extreme Metal Madness compilation in 2008. ‘Eradefiled‘ released as a free downloadable album in 2010. Nominated by Rolling Stones Metal Awards in 6 categories including Best Metal Album, Band, Artwork, Drummer, Vocalist and Guitarist in 2010.
