Started off in May 2001 as a solo project of Demonstealer (of Demonic Resurrection), at the end of may Reptilian death released their 1st album ‘5 easy ways to murder someone‘. The band was meant to be grindcore/death metal act. the band seen its first full line-up after 6 months in November 2001. Since, then band has gone through many line-up changes and had release several albums upto 2006. The band’s last release was a split compilation, Defaced and Split, featuring 5-tracks of Reptilian death. Since then, band has evolved from spoofy death metal act to serious,groovy death metal band. Band is now ready with its new release ‘The Dawn of Consummation and Emergence’ after 7 years, album is now available for purchase. Band is ready to perform gigs with its new line-up which will tour India for the promotion of Album. New line-up consist of Demonstealer(Drums, Vocals), Vinay Venkatesh(Vocals,Bhayanak Maut fame), Nishith Hegde(Guitarist, Albatross Fame) and Ashwin Shriyan(Bass).
The Heavy/Horror Metal act from Mumbai started off as the solo project of Riju Dasgupta(Workshop, Old Monks) who wanted to marry is love of literature with his other love Metal. Then, a line-up of like-minded found each other and hence Albatross formed and seen their way to studio for recording its first ever EP ‘Dinner Is You‘, written on the concept of cannibalism and the kuru disease. Since then band is active in live circuit and had performed many gig around in India. Recently released another EP ‘The kissing Files‘ as part of a split CD with american doom metal band Vestal Claret. And now they Ready to perform at blueFROG supporting Reptilian Death.
The 4-piece black metal band from Mumbai Solar Deity, will perform their first ever gig in mumbai since its Inception on November 19,2011. The band started off as 2-piece black metal act started by Aditya Mehta and Yash Pathak(Exhumation Fame) band released their debut EP ‘In The Name Of Satan‘ on April 1,2012. Since then band started searching for like minded musicians and band released single track in the end of April and another EP ‘The Darkness of Being‘ in August 2012 was the last release and band found its whole line-up for live performances. The band line-up is Aditya Mehta(Guitar,vocals), Yash Pathak(Drums), Animesh Das(Bass), Akash Shah(Guitar).
