Pune based Experimental metal band ‘Insanity Quotient‘ has decided to continue under a different band name, as they have had pretty much a complete line-up changes and a slight difference in the musical direction, going for a ‘complete overhall’ seemed opt. The band will continue under the name of ‘Virion‘ and they have released their debut single as well.

Virion is:
Pratul Pandita – Vocals
Suraj Monga – Guitar
Bob Alex – Guitar
Akshaya Chander – Bass
Zaeen de Souza – Drums

Their music is influenced from bands like Meshuggah, Gojira, Textures, Veil of Maya, Tesseract to name a few. Among Indian bands, their favourites are Noiseware, Scribe, Abraxas, Eccentrib Penduluam, Escher’s Knot etc.
