Sulfurcloud is a music project and brain-child of Guwahati based Pragun Bali. The music Sulfurcloud creates is very independent and does not restrict to one particular genre/Sub-genre. Sulfurcloud released their debut single ‘Maya‘ on their Soundcloud page  in collaboration with Amitabh Barooa (Lucid Recess, Guwahati) on bass and drum programming , Abhishek Goswami (Manipal Talkies,Manipal) on keyboards and Probal Sengyung on lead guitars ( Sulfurcloud).

We spoke with Pragun and this is what he had to say about the track “The song is basically written to portray a picture of a slowly forming array of intense thoughts/feelings (starting from calm keyboards) and stepping into a series of unresolved conflicts in the mind of someone who isn’t at peace with his/her counterpart’s behavior of the past, the reason of which is the current suffering of the one singing the song. The music and lyrics go up and down like an emotional roller-coaster much like in one’s mind (the feeling of constant realizations and confusions all at once). “Maya” is the name of the song though this word hasn’t been mentioned even once in the track which indicates it is simply put to add an enigmatic feel to the theme of the composition since the name has an element of mystery to it!”
