COB are a 5 piece Melodic Black/Death Metal band from Finland.This is their first album Something Wild.This album has the most amazing riffs and lead solos.They seem to be influenced by Joe Sat,Steve Vai and the like.This album is full of speed.These guys play hard,fast and heavy and yet make it sound melodic.They use keyboards to good affect sometimes he seems to be playing the solos and melodies along with the lead guitar.The drummer is really impressive and plays some tricky double bass patterns. The strange thing is that the album has no lyrics Alexi "Wildchild " Lahio the vocalist/Lead Guitarist is just singing whatever sounds good.That probably explains why you can understand the words.The album has 8 Tracks out which songs like Deadnight Warrior and Lake Bodom really stand out and make you want to listen to them over and over. The Vinyl has an extra track called Children Of Bodom which is on their second album "Hatebreeder".This is a must get album for all people who like Melodic Metal and like good guitaring.
