Ad Noctum:Dynasty Of Death is a very,very fitting title,for Limbonic Art have steered themselves down a similar path as fellow countrymen Gehenna,Keep Of Kalessin and to a certain extent,Emperor,by adopting more of a brutal death metal influence to co-exist with their symphonic black metal persona for their new full length release. The outcome is dark and crippling,as extremely superior drum programming is centered on an apocalyptic pace of unrelenting extremism as the opening track "The dark paranormal calling",on "as the bell of immolation calls" begins with a slower presence then progresses to a pounding double bass churn before exploding back into a maelstrom of fiery winds and detonating speed..from this point onward,the rest of the album unfolds with well placed dynamics and a swirling atmosphere that breathes the intentions of genocide as powerful synth tones interact with the merciless fray of guitars and demonic screaming vocals. Even though the heart of Limbonic Art is electronic(drums and synth)this sinister duo(Daemon and Morfeus) have created a totally dense album that will grab a hold and render your mind and body into a helpless mash of screaming mush with their knack for heaving bludgeoning soundscapes out in every direction with the intent to kill. Ad Noctum:Dynasty Of Death is a very violent album,a very good album,that shows off strong songwriting ,waves of symphonic might and a black metal pride that appears to be coming out the last several years from the cold lands of Norway!
